Service Saturdays
Weekly Opportunities
Each month, students from STM participate in Service Saturday, an initiative to serve the greater columbia community!
Saint Thomas More Church Clean-Up- Fridays of each week (9:40am)
- assist the Church cleaning team
Society of Saint Vincent De Paul - St. Joseph's Catholic Church
(3600 Devine St. Columbia, SC 290205)- Tuesdays of Each Week (8am-11am)
- Food pantry re-stocking
- Wednesdays of Each Week (8:30am-11:30am)
- Food pantry distribution
- First Week of Each Month (5pm-6:30 Saturday, 7:45-12:45 pm Sunday)
- Food pantry restocking after Mass
- Third Monday of Each Month (6pm-8pm)
- Delivering groceries to houses in need
- Furniture Ministry (Times Vary)
- Pick-up and delivery for furniture to those in need
Prison Ministry
Camille Graham Correctional Center for Women- This opportunity is just for the ladies of STM. For those interested, you will be assisting with catechesis for the facility. Please reach out to Father Williams or Savannah Robinson if interested in volunteering!

Redemption Day- Open to everyone. Volunteers will help Catholic Charities for their re-entry program. This program supports inmates who are leaving prison for re-entry into society! They need help with set-up on the day before and day of their events!

Mission Trips
St. Thomas More students have the opportunity during USC's Spring Break to go on a mission trip.
The 2025 Spring Break Mission Trip will be over Spring Break in Uruguay.

At St. Thomas More, we recognize that we are not only students, but also a part of the larger Columbia community during our time at USC. The Carolina Catholic Campus Ministry makes time to reach out and impact the community in positive ways including: feeding the homeless, visiting with the elderly, organizing and donating to clothing drives, and so much more. Getting the chance to serve others allows us to fully participate in the Corporal Works of Mercy.

It is our hope at St. Thomas More that no student misses out on an opportunity because of financial need. A very generous donation allowed us to set up the
